I sell at in-person markets and wholesale. I don't have a web store, but we can use email to arrange shipping or local pickup.
These are the rates I charge at markets, depending on the item's size. Prices are scaled accordingly for large-quantity orders. I keep a small backstock and make things on request.
To recreate any already-designed project from my portfolio, I price based on market rate of materials + hourly manufacturing rate as described below. I always design with manufacturing in mind, so most pieces are quick to produce.
I add a $10–50 markup to the price required to order something from Shapeways, depending on the design and quantity, and post-processing requirements.
I love to do custom projects, and find this leads to the most interesting outcomes! I have made everything from small wooden and metal objects to furniture, built-ins, and structures.
To keep costs predictable, I will often estimate the time commitment and set a flat rate for the project + materials.
My hourly rate for design and manufacture is between $30–150 depending on the work and client. If you'd like to negotiate a lower price, we can start with your hourly rate.
